HANDBUILDING FOR BEGINNERS

In 4 weeks we will guide you through the first steps in handbuilding. You will soon be making your first sculptures or functional objects to for example eat or drink from! Al of this will be at our amazing Amstel studio accompanied by some snacks and drinks to start the weekend in a fun and creative way.


At Pansa we love handbuilding and we think it is the best way to get acquainted with the clay as a tool and way to materialise creative ideas with your hands and mind. With the right techniques and under the guidance of our excellent teachers you are able to make smooth and aesthetically appealing shapes while being free to sculpt and explore.

From the first class you will be taught a variety of handbuilding techniques. In the 2nd class you will start oin your own project and in class 3 you will work towards finishing at least one object. We will bisque fire that for you and in class 4 you will be able to glaze your own piece.


A maximum of 2 pieces is included in this course (with a max. of 2 litres of volume in total)
