This 12 week course is our most complete one on offer. It is suitable for those new to ceramics, but also for those who already have some knowledge of working with clay. In 12 weeks you are able to develop more knowledge and get familiar with the material. This course will give you all the experience you need to start working by yourself.
You will be amazed of what you can do. 

We will start with the basics in handbuilding techniques. From class 3 you will also start throwing on the wheel. In this course you will focus on the full spectrum of ceramics. Wheels are shared in this class, so if you only want to focus on wheel throwing, please look for our other courses. We do recommend you this full course. Many handbuilding techniques come back in throwing as well. This course also covers glazing of your own pieces.

A maximum of 8 pieces can be fired and glazed during this course. The main focus in a course is on techniques, the process and practising. If you wish to make more, please consider a membership during or after this course. 

After this course, for those who feel confident and wish to continue by making and experimenting by themselves, you can sign up for a membership at Pansa. You might already be able to start with this during the course. We will guide you in these steps. Many of our former students became makers and now use the studio as full time members.
