This full course will focus only on throwing on the wheel.

In this course you will start your journey on the potter's wheel, learning the basics of wedging, centring, pulling up, shaping and trimming under the careful guidance of our amazing teachers.

you will find yourself throwing your first pieces while reflecting on and growing your skills together with your fellow students.

Depending on the amount of weeks a certain amount of pieces can be fired and glazed during this course: 6 pieces max. for 8 weeks with a limit of 4 litres in total. The main focus in a course is on techniques, the process and practising. If you wish to continue If you wish to continue on your ceramics journey, please consider a membership during or after this course.

After this course, for those who feel confident and wish to continue by making and experimenting by themselves, you can sign up for an intermediate course, or the membership. You might already be able to start with this during the course. We will guide you in these steps. Many of our former students became makers and now use the studio as full time members.
